Ally which was previously GMAC has just announced a new type of financing. This program is currently being piloted in Florida. It gives the buy the best of both retail and lease. With this new finance program called Ally Buyers Choice you finance the purchase of your new car like you would normally with terms up to 84 months. On the 48th month you have an option to turn in the car and simply pay a $499 disposition fee.

So if you are not sure wether to purchase or lease this gives you the opportunity to decide 48 months from now. It also does not require that you have higher insurance coverage which is normally required on a lease and could be costly.

There are some of the requirements that you would have on a lease like the 48,000 mile limitation. You are charged for excess mileage.
